Master’s in the New Energy Goes Italian
The Italian version of Adamus’ Masters in the New Energy book was introduced on October 24 at the Italian Shaumbra gathering in Rome. The Italian language edition is published by Stazione Celeste. • It has been medically been proven that laughter is an effective pain killer.

• One gallon of used motor oil can ruin approximately one million gallons of fresh water.

• Oak trees do not have acorns until they are fifty years old or older.

• The name "Grey Poupon" used for mustard comes from two people: Maurice Grey and Auguste Poupon. Grey was the inventor of a machine that mass produced fine textured mustard, and Poupon was an already established maker of mustard. In 1886 the Grey-Poupon firm was formed.

• In a study that was done by the University of Chicago in 1907, it was concluded that the easiest color to spot is yellow. This is why John Hertz, who is the founder of the Yellow Cab Company picked cabs to be yellow.

• In Britain’s House of Commons, the government and opposition sides of the House are separated by two red lines. The distance between the lines is two sword’s lengths, a reminder of just how seriously the Brits used to take their politics.

• In Athens, Greece, a driver's license can be taken away by law if the driver is deemed either "unbathed" or "poorly dressed".

• Each day, anywhere from 35-150 species of life go extinct.

• From the 1850's to the 1880's, the most common reason for death among cowboys in the American West was being dragged by a horse while caught in the stirrups.

• There was a "pony express" in Persia many centuries before Christ. Riders on this ancient circuit, wearing special colored headbands, delivered the mails across the vast stretch of Asia Minor, sometimes riding for hundreds of miles without a break.

• Mao Zedong, like many Chinese of his time, refused to brush his teeth. Instead, he rinsed his mouth with tea and chewed the leaves. Why brush? "Does a tiger brush his teeth?" argued Mao. As you can imagine, his teeth were green. Chairman Mao also loved to chain-smoke English cigarettes, when his doctor asked him to cut down, he explained that "smoking is also a form of deep-breathing exercise, don't you think?"
